Also known as Paschal eggs, traditionally, easter eggs were hard-boiled eggs that were decorated and painted and used as an adornment or an element of decoration. Easter eggs are typically given to people, generally children on the day of Easter. These eggs are connected to the story of the mythical Easter Bunny who leaves Easter Eggs for each family the night before Easter. Several variations of Easter Eggs exist today. There are Chocolate Easter Eggs, where the shell of the easter egg is made of chocolate and within it, there is more chocolate. In another variation, there are Easter Eggs that have a plastic shell and within it are candy or toys, or other goods.
Easter Egg Hunt:
The Easter Egg Hunt is an Easter tradition that several families follow. In this fun tradition, decorative easter eggs are hidden around the house for children to find. Sometimes, the children are given a few clues to help them out with the Easter Egg Hunt. The Easter Eggs are generally filled with candy, treats, toys, or even money. The finder of each easter egg gets to keep whatever it contains.
